Scientists Seeking Funds

ABOUT FUNDASCIENTIST.COM™

Throughout the development of science, pioneering scientists and their innovative work have far too often been overlooked, discredited or ignored by their peers in the scientific community. Many basic truths we accept today without question were based on revolutionary ideas at the time.

Even today, with the lessons of history as our guide, there is much anecdotal evidence to suggest that the peer review system is still too risk-averse and continues to be by its very nature un-receptive to innovative ideas that merit research and funding.

If one accepts the above premise, then a great place to look for truly innovative science may be among the group of scientists who do not receive funding through the peer review system under the supervision of the National Institutes of Health.

Theoretically, then, a funding source may find paradigm shifting ideas and innovative scientific projects within this group of scientists whose proposals were rejected by the peer review system at the National Institutes of Health and elsewhere.

Of course, many proposals rejected by the peer review system are scientifically deficient.

However, if only a few innovative scientists are funded through Fund A Scientist, then the efforts of Fund A Scientist will have been successful.

Every three months the National Institutes of Health rejects about 10,000 grant applications. The scientists who submitted these unfunded applications (and any other scientists who are interested) will be invited to register on Fund A Scientist along with legitimate funding sources who are qualified to review potentially ground breaking ideas.

We strongly hope that you will choose to participate in the Fund A Scientist project.

There is absolutely no charge for this service.
